A man was giving his friend a lift on his bicycle. He was pedalling and his friend was steering.
They were travelling along a stretch of road which had room for two lanes of traffic.
They pulled out to avoid a car which was parked on the inside lane.
A lorry overtook the bicycle and the cyclists fell off with one of their legs being run over by the wheels of the lorry.
It was unclear whether or not any signal was given to move out and there was evidence that the bicycle had been wobbling before the lorry reached it.
