Countryside Access

Since 1968, cyclists have gained the right to cycle on bridleways (Countryside Act 1968, s. 30(1), (2)). Whilst cyclists are allowed to cycle on bridleways, there is an obligation on cyclists to give way to pedestrians and persons on horseback.
