Pavel Razek, a keen mountain biker, was on a training ride on his road bike on 6th November 2018.

As he was approaching Montrose, a car travelling in the opposite direction suddenly and without warning turned right across his path.

Pavel was knocked from his bike.

His main injury was to his right ankle and he was off work for nearly a week.

His bicycle was smashed into two pieces (see photo below).Pavel Rasek's damaged bikeWe were able to get the insurers for the vehicle to confirm that liability was admitted and secure full and final settlement for Pavel for his injuries, bicycle and helmet and clothing within 5 months of his accident.

So, sometimes Insurers can play ball and proposed offers can be accepted first time around.

Unfortunately, however, this is the exception rather than the rule.
