Accident Locus

Ben came to us following a cycling accident in Glasgow when he was on his way into University.

He was travelling past a junction when a van, which had been heading in the opposite direction, made a right hand turn across his path. Ben was unable to avoid a collision.Facebook Logo

Our client was rather shaken up and only got the driver’s name and his occupation. He was able to trace the driver via Facebook and he reported the incident to the police. The police were able to obtain further details and thereafter we were in a position to formally intimate Ben’s claim to the third party insurers.

Ben had sustained minor facial injuries as well as soft tissue injuries to his hip and knee.

Furthermore his bike had been damaged and he required this to be repaired.

One month after intimating the claim we received a pre-medical offer of £1,500 plus reimbursement for Ben’s damaged bike.

Ben was delighted with this offer and had this to say about Cycle Law Scotland;

“I am very glad that I can finally put this incident behind me and I am incredibly thankful for all your help with regards to the accident. The compensation from the insurers is more than what I could have asked for, and I am so relieved that I can focus on enjoying riding my bike again. I would definitely recommend your legal services to my friends should they ever need help or advice with cycling!”
